Fireflies: Parth and Jugnu is a drama filled with mysteries in a magical world. The series is created by Ashok Sharma, Animesh Varma and Animesh Walia. Plot
The story of the series starts with the commencement of the examination in a school, Parth a student of class ninth didn’t pass the exam. Parth is very sad and lonely after his fathers death, he goes to a jungle near his house and unfolds a magical world, where he meets a boy with supernatural powers named Jugnu. Jugnu is the protector of sanjeevani tree, which is believed to be a medicinal tree, beneficial for human beings. Parth and his friends are set to support Jugnu in protecting the Sanjeevani tree, from a wicked scientist who wants to become immortal with the medicinal power of the tree. How will they stop the wicked scientist from destroying the world? How will they overcome the challenges coming towards them?

The child actors Meet Mukhi as Parth and Aekam Binjwa as Jugnu have given an originality to this fantasy filled series with their performance. Parth is a school student who is always distant from others, but after his friendship with Jugnu he transforms into a cheerful character. On the other hand Jugnu acts as a guardian of the sanjeevani tree located in the jungle. Jugnu gracefully executes the role of a boy with mysterious power.
