Rendezvous with Simi Garewal was a chat show hosted by Simi Garewal which started in the year 1997 and continued for 10 years with a stretch of 5 seasons. Each season had 26 episodes. It was the longest running talk show in India. Host: Simi Garewal was born in Delhi. Her father, J S Garewal served in the army rising to the rank of brigadier.

Simi grew up in England and studied at Newland House School with her sister Amrita. Simi designed the sets of her show with this concept of peace in mind. The set would all be white with flowers as the only color. The sets of the show are almost a replica of her home terrace. She feels there may be other documentaries to record the achievements and milestones of her guests but Rendezvous has captured their personal side. The show soon reached no.1 in the TRP ratings.
