Big Switch Season-1 was premiered on UTV Bindaas, which was hosted by Genelia D'souza. The show managed to segment out what we call ‘rich habits’ and ‘poverty habits,' meaning the tendencies of those who fit in each group. In this world, everyone has rich habits and some poverty habits.
Hence, in this show, ten rich participants of our country got paired up with a youngster from slums (slum buddy) and interchange their behaviour on the live show. The rich had to do all works what the poor slum dwellers do in our country from washing clothes, make roti, crush rice and chillies, etc.
The key option was to get transferred to slum habits by rich people. Hence, ten rich contestants lived with poor slum dwellers. The winner of the show won a cash of Rs 10 lakh and even a car at a cost of Rs 5 lakhs.
