Born on 28th May, 1988, Amrapali Gupta hails from the town of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. In her early days, Amrapali was a very involved in theatre work and, at a friend’s advice, decided to audition for a TV series. She won her first part in the series “Khushiyaan” on Doordarshan, and was later seen in the popular show “Teen Bahuraniyan” as Bindiya on Zee TV. She became known for her positive and charming onscreen presence in the roles of Arushi and Radha. She had to work very hard growing up, and had to provide for herself. She worked a saleswoman at the age of sixteen by selling air tight containers just to pay for some of her costs. She has come a long way from when she first started modelling at the age of eighteen to starring in her first reality show “Ek Se Badkhar Ek”. She married her “Teen Bahuraniyan” co-star Yash Sinha two years ago who is known for his role of Babloo in “Afsar Bitiya” and his cameo in Apharan. She currently plays the role of a scheming and conniving Tanveer on Zee TV’s ‘Qubool Hai”.
Yash and Amrapali were last seen together on the silver screen in the reality dance show Nach Ba-liye Season 6. Her favorite movie stars are Rani Mukherjee and Shahrukh Khan. This green eyed beauty has confessed her love for teddy bears and enjoys cooking and reading in her free time. She participated in the first ever TV star calendar shoot with husband Yash Sinha for the Beti campaign.
