Contract is a Bengali language web series premiered on 18th March 2021 on Zee5. The web series presents us with the dark side of politics. It is based on the novel " The Biggest Bangla Action Thriller Of The Year." The story begins with a disagreement between an old politician named Amulya Babu and a powerful gangster named Black Ronju. After the dispute, Ronju was nowhere to be seen. Fifteen years later, Ronju was traced back to the city and supposedly had plans to attack the politician. In an attempt to protect himself, the politician appoints his old aide named Tareque, to find Ronju and end this game.
Other characters that add twists to the story include the local police inspector, who gets a whiff about this chase, Pir who is an opposition party leader, and Uma, a beautician who is caught up between Tareque and Black Ronju's chase. Will Black Ronju accomplish his mission, or will he be a victim of political power? Watch the series to find out.
