Basabdatta Chatterjee is a Bengali actress born on 6th May 1989 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Her father, Sumantra Chatterjee, was a film critic. She completed her schooling at Lee Memorial Girls High School, Brahmo Balika Shikshalaya. The series was aired in Zee Bangla. In the same year, she appeared as Devi Gouri in the Zee Bangla's Jago Dosoprohoronodharini with Jeetu Kamal, Mimi Dutta, Oindrilla Sen, Geetashree Roy, Tumpa Ghosh, and Diya Mukherjee. In 2014, she played in the series Durga Durgotinashini as Devi Sati.
