Mohabbat Mushkil Hai is a romantic drama serial that was aired on 3^rd July 2017 and continued until 15^th September 2017 with a total of 54 episodes broadcasted on HUM TV. Written by ‘Hina Huma Nafees’ and directed by ‘Asher Ali Asghar,’ the serial tells the story of two young women who are left to fend for themselves after the death of their parents. Two young girls Uroosa and Aqsa are left alone with each other after their parents’ deaths which leads them to become extremely supportive and protective over each other. Together they face each and every problem that seems like a major obstacle in their path. However, every battle can’t be fought together especially if the battle includes love. The serial focuses on the concept of century-old ‘watta-satta,’ which gradually affects the life of Uroosa.

Uroosa is in love with a man named Saqib and they are happy with their relationship. However, Saqib’s parents want Saqib to marry his cousin so that his sister could marry his brother-in-law. Saqib is devastated with the decision made for him and this deeply trouble’s him. He couldn’t force his mind to accept the decision yet he feels the duty to his own sister. Meanwhile, Saqib’s mother leads Uroosa to believe that Saqib’s fate was fixed and that there was no way to save him from the trouble and the fact that he had to marry his cousin to save his sister’s marriage. Uroosa soon accepts her fate and is ready to sacrifice her love for the greater good. However, will Saqib let go of his right to choose his own bride or will Uroosa’s sacrifice save him from his troubled fate is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
