The story unfolds with Wajid, a crime reporter in a local newspaper. Naveed and Wajid practice with their friend, Hameed, who owns an arms supply. Azhar was under the supervision of an undercover agent from Islamabad. She was posing as a UN worker. Azhar was given a case of narcotics by his higher officers. He had the liberty to assemble his team, which should be kept confidential. It was to ensure that the team members wouldn't be involved with the local police and that no word would get leaked about their plans and outlines as a possible tipoff for criminals.
