Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde is a TV serial of Rom-com genre produced by RK Telefilms. The show airs on ETV Plus every Monday to Wednesday at 8 PM. Every episode is about 20 to 25 minutes long. Now, there are many layers to the plot. Manu, who is a well off businessman, is a loving son and cares for everyone. On the other hand, Sindhu comes from a family with army background. She believes in true love and has faith in people around her. Naturally, Manu falls in love with her – at first sight, but his mother has different plans for him. Sindhu often tries to tease and woo Manu because he is very rich.
The period of the show is set in the modern times - the time of social media, technology, and other fast communications. The story goes on and as expected, they have lot of troubles in keeping along with one another. There arise many misconceptions adding to the hurdles that their families are creating. We have to see how the lovers- Manu and Sindhu- succeed in maintaining their love and relationships in spite of everything and will their families and relatives accept them. The director has added lots of comedy to romance to give a lighter tone to the show. The design and costume are of a normal household to keep the show related to family matters.
To elevate the romance and comedy in the show, there are discussions revolving around news (from newspapers, TV), about television shows, movies (James Bond, etc.). Even the weightiest matters are dealt in the most comical way possible. For instance, there are moments when Sidhu became so angry with Manu that she starts hitting him with belna, but the scene are delivered in most funny way possible. Manu’s mother often tries to teach Sidhu various so-called ways of a ‘higher’ life. They both keep getting in and out of troubles Therefore, in short it can be said that it’s a story of a couple who with their humor and mutual understand solves every issue that come on their way.
