This season is the third successful series of the serial. The story revolves around the lives of Anurag and Prerna. They together pursue their education in a University in Kolkata. They happen to develop a strong relationship after a few meetings. Their bond slowly shifts from friendship to love over days. While both love each other, Prerna is the first one to realize her love. They together rejoice in their moments for a while. Meanwhile, a self-centered woman named Komalika feels obsessed over Anurag. Anurag realizes his love for Prerna later. They share their love and plan on getting married.

Komalika makes mischievous plans to spoil their relationship. She threatens Anurag to marry her by destroying Prerna's house. Anurag feels helpless and agrees to her demand. Prerna gets devastated hearing the news. Prerna gets into an accident and reaches the hospital for treatment. She becomes aware of her pregnancy and Komalika's devious plan during checkups. Prerna exposes her plans and gets her arrested. But Komalika escapes the jail and vanishes for a while. Anurag and Prerna get reunited and gets engaged. Anurag's rival, Rishab, falsely accuses him in a case and gets him locked up in prison. He threatens Prerna with that to get her married to him. Prerna agrees to that to set Anurag free. Anurag feels heartbroken hearing that, but he doesn't give up on his love.

While spending time with Prerna, Rishab starts falling for her. He tries to kill Anurag, who he feels is a hurdle for his desire. But the couple gets back together apart of all these happenings. That's when Komalika shows her presence and gets Anurag into an accident. He loses his memory in the accident. Komalika fakes her relationship with him and makes him believe in their marriage. Prerna fears about Anurag's health, and she hides the truth. Komalika tries to kill both Prerna and her daughter. But her plans fail, and she gives birth to Sneha. Anurag regains his memory. Rishab and Komalika then make devious plans to separate the triple. They got stuck in their plans and separated from each other. Both Anurag and Prerna believe Sneha to be dead. How they get united after all their hurdles become the story. Their life issues are the focus areas in the serial.
