It is sometimes fascinating to read about how film stars, especially in the South, get into the industry from totally diverse fields, and with no conscious intentions to be in movies. Andrea Jeremiah’s career seems to fit into this category. Her childhood ambition was to go for higher studies and get to become a psychiatrist. But music was always in the background, as she started learning classical Western piano when she was just eight, and she quickly showed her prowess when she formed her own troupe called Young Stars which also was a precursor for her later singing and music composing career.

Gautami Tadimalla is an actress who had a lot of competitors like Amala, Revathi, Shobana, or Khushboo, but yet this actress made her identity of her own in Tamil cinema. She was born in West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh) on 2nd July 1968. She was not beautiful or pretty in the traditional way, but she was indeed cute in many of her roles that she played with innocent looks. She had a good chemistry with all superstars of Tamil cinema like Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth.

Kaushiki was born on October 24 in the year 1980 in Kolkata. She is a great and eminent Classical Vocalist of the Indian origin. She belongs to a well-reputed and well-known family in Kolkata. She has her training in the style of “gayaki” of Gharana of Patiala. She honed her singing skills at the “Sangeet Research Academy” where her father taught. She is well trained in the ‘semi-classical” and “light classical” music genre which includes “khayals” and “thumris”. She has received many applauds and accolades for her passion for music as well talent. She has been recognized and honored by various national and international awards like the BBC award in the year 2005. She has shown her skill and talent in various national and international festivals too. She was born to Chandana Chakraborty and the prominent Classical singer Ajoy Chakraborty. She is married to Parthasarathi Desikan and did many performances with him at many concerts and shows. They have a son named Rishith.

She took birth in a Tamil Urdu speaking Muslim family on 3 February 1938, in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu.Her dream was to become a successful doctor but due to circumstances of illness, she dropped this goal. But her parents were too supportive to her debut on silver screen. From the very childhood, she started learning dance forms, especially in the Bharata Natyam dance form. She made her debut into the Telugu industry via two films 'Jayasimha' (1955) and 'Rojulu Marayi'(1955). She also had a film made in Tamil called 'Kalam Mari Pochu'. At the success party of Rojulu Marayi, Guru Dutt observed her and presented her a film titled CID. she had one of the best debuts into the industry and after watching her performance in CID, this made Guru Dutt to cast her in five films more. She got hit films like Pyaasa, Full Moon by Guru Dutt but after a alleged affair with Guru Dutt which resulted in the breakage of his marriage they both parted ways.

Indian movie lovers know Jude S. Walko as Captain Joe Black in Kamal Haasan's starrer 'Vishwaroopam'. That is Jude’s introduction to our Indian cinema. It is said that he was involved in the project as US producer along with Teddy Yoon who was an online producer in NYC. The actor will also be seen in the second version of ‘Vishwaroopam’ which is in the filming stage. He occupies the same role as Captain Joe Black and US producer in Vishwaroopam sequel. After producing horror fantasy movie ‘Siren’ (2016) which was directed by Greg Bishop, Jude S. Walko made his feature film ‘The Incantation’ which is his first feature film as a directorial debut. The film is being produced by Blue Falcon Production and the producer is Dan Campbell and executive producer is Gary & Julie Sullivan.

VTV Ganesh is a renowned Tamil film actor, comedian, and producer. He was born as Ganesh Janardhanan in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, India. He became popular for his hoarse voice. Ganesh has appeared in many of Silambarasan’s films. He was debuted in Gautham Menon’s Tamil musical romantic drama film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010). Shamdat Sainudeen is a famed cinematographer of the south movies and has worked in several Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and one Arabic film. Shamdat Sainudeen is a self-made person. He was born in Palakkad (also known as Palghat) city in South Kerala. According to him, he wasn’t specifically good at anything in school. So intrinsically, he thought that cinema would be his rescuer and at that time he thought to become an actor. After schooling, he did his graduation from the University of Calicut and then joined a Film school in South Kerala but very soon he realized that it was a just a money minded business which gives back nothing, so he started learning about still photography himself and tried being a photographer. Javed Akhtar is an Indian poet, lyricist, film scriptwriter from Bellwood. He is best known for teaming up with Salim Khan. Javed Akhtar came to recognition as a scriptwriter duo of Salim-Javed. Salim-Javed was instrumental in making of Amitabh Bachchan the superstar and 'angry young' image in Indian cinema, While Salim had ideated stories, Javed used to write the dialogues. Ramajogayya Sastry was born on August 24, 1970 in the small village called Arepalli Muppalla, Ipur Mandal which is near Narasaraopet of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh to parents Suryaprakasa Rao and Saraswatamma in an agricultural family. His father was a priest and an agriculturist by profession. His mother is a home-maker. He was the only child of his parents. He is a Computer Science Engineer who persuaded his B.Tech from NIT Warangal and his Master’s degree in M.Tech at IIT Kharagpur.

Vairamuthu is a very famous Tamil writer, poet, and lyricist. His full name is Vairamuthu Ramasamy. He was born on 13th July 1953. He was born in a middle-class family to Ramasamythevar and Angammal in Mettur. His family moved to Vadugapatti, Theni in Tamil Nadu when he was four years old. He is famous by the pen name Kaviyarasu or Kaviperarasu. He got married to Ponmani Vairamuthu and had two children, Madhan Karky Vairamuthu, and Kabilan Vairamuthu. He got inspiration from the Tamil and Rationalist movements in the 1960s that enthused him to pursue a career as a writer. He graduated from Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai. As a speaker and a poet, he was highly praised as the best in his college.

Mahesh Narayanan is an Indian writer and film editor, popular amongst the regional audience for his work in movies like Take Off (2017), Traffic (2011), Vishwaroopam (2013), and Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015). Mostly known for his predominant involvement in Mollywood movies and Malayali TV shows, he has been working in the film industry for more than ten years now.

Even as a child, Rahul had been interested in different plays and also participated in various co-curricular activities in school. His first stage play was when he was only six years old where he played the role of Tom, the piper’s son. The first movie of Rahul Bose was Thakshak, which was directed by Govind Nihalani, where he played a negative role.

Russell Geoffrey Banks was born on November 13, 1981. He is an English actor and writer. Geoffrey is best known for playing roles in remarkable horror films like a Ghost house, Pernicious, Cam2cam and Who's Watching Oliver. His birthplace is Northampton, but Russell grew up in London with his family except his father. After he turned twelve, he moved to the Isle of Wight.

Shekhar Kapur is a renowned Indian actor, director, and producer.He was born on 6 December 1945, in Lahore, which was then part of British India. His father, Kulbhushan Kapur, was an eminent doctor. His mother was Sheela Kanta Kapoor, who was the sister of actor Dev Anand. Shekhar was the only son of his parents. He also had three sisters. Shekhar went to school at the Modern School in New Delhi and later studied Economics at the prestigious St. Stephen’s College. When he was of 22 years, he became a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW in England. In the starting of his career Shekhar worked for big Oil Company, then he moved to the UK in 1970 and spent few years working as a consultant. Ghibran is a Music composer in Indian film industry. As one among his experiences, initially, he worked as the composer for ad-films where he was the main composer for more than 800 television commercial jingles covering various languages. After that, he shifted his career towards music composing in Indian Films. From Trinity College London he completed his Grade 8 in Music Theory and Piano. From LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore he obtained the degree in Classical music composition and film scoring under the guidance of Lindsay Vickery from Australia. He got the experience there for two years.

Lee Whittaker is one of the top Stunt Performers in the Film Industry, having experience of working off and on the camera. He has worked for twenty years on some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster movies. Whittaker was working as a Second-Unit Director and Stunt Coordinator for ten years when he started his career; many Hollywood Directors hired him for the action-stunt scenes. Aravind Srinivas is a well-known Singer from the Tamil Film Industry. His birthplace is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His notable movies as a singer are Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, released in 2017 and directed by H. Vinoth Vijay Sethupathi, released in 2019 and directed by Vijay Chander Eeswarudu, released in 2021 and directed by Suseenthiran, Eeswaran released in 2021 and directed by Suseenthiran, Taanakkaran released in 2022 and directed by Tamizh, Koogle Kuttappa released in 2022 and directed by Sabari Saravanan, Ponniyin Selvan: II released in 2023 and directed by Mani Ratnam, and many more movies.

Filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer D Satya Prakash (Kannada) has won national awards for his work in these areas. Social and interpersonal relationships are frequently the subjects of his writings. Ondalla Eradalla is the sequel to his breakthrough film, Rama Rama Re. Man of the Match is his newest business endeavor. Prakash directed the short movie Jayanagara's 4th block before he started managing commercial movies. In the past decade, the jingle industry has made giant leaps in many arenas — quality of music production, openness towards new singers and overall professionalism. Many singers have begun their career working in ad jingles. One among them is Suraj Jagan. He also got a good exposure as Bollywood playback singer. Jingle voices were once unseen voices almost. Anand Krishnamoorthi is primarily a sound editor, mixer, and designer working in the Hindi film industry. Besides that, he also has an interest in acting and screenwriting. He is an alumnus of the Loyola College and Anna University from where he did his Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication, and master's in Electronic Media respectively.

Kunal Rajan is a sound designer who has worked with a few Hollywood projects and two south Indian movies like ' Uttama Villain' and 'Vishwaroopam.’ Rajan when he was just starting work on  Tamil musical drama 'Uttama Villain,’ had asked Oscar-winning sound mixer, Craig Mann, if he was interested to be part of an India movie. And thus Craig was part of ‘Uttama Villain.’ Kunal has since completed a hundred movies as a Supervising Sound Editor as of 2016.

Lalagudi N Ilayaraja is an Art Director from Lalagudi, a town in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling from Government Higher Secondary School situated in Lalagudi. He completed his degree from the Government College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam which was affiliated to the Bharathithasan University at that time. Madhu sudhanan, an active artist and a film maker, was born in 1956, in Allapuzha, a coastal district of Kerala. Since a very young age, Madhu began to show interest in drawings and painting, which later on became a driving force for his getting admission in Fine Arts College- Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where Madhu studied Painting and afterwards at M.S University, Baroda, Gujarat, where the artist studied Print Making. Madhu, not only is a painter, but a film-maker, video-maker, and above all a philosopher, whose ideas reflect his deep-rooted desire for personal and political freedom, along with a dislike towards war and boundaries of body and heart. He was in his early life, greatly inspired by a mobile theatre from Andhra Pradesh; a 120-year old company which performed at temples and in villages.

Damian Mavis is a Hollywood stuntman and actor. He lives in Canada. And this stunt master became an international figure for doing the stunt double role for Bradley Cooper for ‘The Hangover 2’ movie and even acted as the bodyguard for Tommy Lee Jones’ in ‘Mechanic Resurrection. In addition, the viewers have noticed him in many US TV series too. This stunt-master even became a hot selling stunt director in many Telugu and even Hindi movies. Deepak Jethi is a television actor who has appeared in a lot of movies in small side roles. He is known for his work in the movies Ishq Qayamat, Ek Tha Raja, and Aaryaman Brahmand Ka Yoddha. He has also worked in some Indian TV series. He is a voice dubbing actor too and has dubbed many foreign movies in Hindi. Deepak Jethi has a done a lot of uncredited roles, which went unnoticed. He initially showed up on the big screen in the year 1996. He did a short role in the movie Ek Tha Raja. Though his role was not important to the movie, his work was better than the other side actors. His passion for acting was noticed by many directors in this movie. In the year 2000, he again appeared in the movie Baagi as a side hero. His role in the movie was almost negligible. He appeared on the screen for a very short time. In 2002, he played the role of Sharad in the movie Sindoor Ki Saugandh. The role was again of a side hero, but he was able to steal some spotlight. He achieved success in the year 2004 when his movie Ishq Qayamat was released.

Mir Sarwar is an Indian movie actor who was born on 19 February 1977 has acted in many Bollywood films playing a variety of roles. Mir Sarwar started his career as a model in 1999.
