Plot

When the loans sharks in the city fight with ego, what happens to them and the people, who are their dependents, is the main plot. The story revolves around a narrow-minded financier, a guy, who is ready to sacrifice himself for his employer and a guy, who lost his brother and searching him. Did the middle-class guy meet his brother? Did the loan shark change his mind? What happens to the sincere employee? To know all these, do watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

“Karunakaran” had performed well to the given character. Besides being a comedian, he had already done a good role in Uppu Karuvadu. Yog Japee and Santhosh Prathap had done a good job. Adith Arun fits in the role. Anu Sithara and Subiksha are the template heroines as usual. Imman Annachi peeps in some scenes and says that he is also in the cast.

Analysis

Podhu Nalan Karudhi is a good title, but it didn’t live up to the expectation. The film has a good plot. But, as the screenplay and the characterizations are not dealt with properly, the film didn't impress. A little more detailing in the characterization, might have made the movie, a better one. The idea of projecting the money lenders is good. But, the director failed to execute it correctly.
