Plot

Ilango is brought up by his grandfather in his village. His maternal uncle had always treated him inferior and hence Ilango had always dreamed of getting a better life. Ilango falls for Amudha, who also belongs to his village. When his grandfather comes to know about his love on Amudha, he warns him that it isn’t the right time to go behind her, as his family needs his strong support. But, Ilango couldn’t forget Amudha and his mind is wavering. What did he decide? Did he go with Amudha or stay with his family? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Poo Ramu had shouldered the film with his stunning performance. Anjali Nair had done her best. Elvis played a decent role and Mime Gopi had done justice to his role, as ever.

Analysis

The film has got its title from the Sangam literary work by Nakkeerar, the great poet. His literary work speaks about the separation of a relationship. In this film, they mainly speak about the separation of the grandfather and the grandson and a couple, who are in love. Although the plot is not new, we have got huge performances from the stars. As the director is from Tirunelveli side, he had used the dialects right in the film. Casting team receives kudos as the actors have done a neat job. The music and the lyrics are perfect. Some scenes are predictable in this rural script.

Verdict

Nedunalvaadai might not have much-known artists. But, when we get out of the theaters, we really feel that we are leaving some of our family members in the theaters. The stars impressed the audiences to that extent and made us travel with them throughout the film. Nedunalvaadai - Emotional
