Plot

Porchezhian, a car driver, lives with his wife Rani and his only daughter Yazhini. Chezhian is an ardent devotee of Periyar and has a lot of social ideologies in him. His wife Rani is a practical woman, who gives preference to her family. While returning from a long trip, Chezhian found someone met an accident. He rescues the person and found out that he is Soundarraja, a business tycoon. After ensuring that Soundarraja is better with the first aid, Chezhian is about to leave. Before he leaves, Chezhian finds Soundarraja’s wife, Jayanthi. Jayanthi is none other than Porchezhian’s former lover. Even after bidding a bye, his ex-lover occupies Chezhian’s mind. The situation makes them meet again. After years, they are attracted towards each other, once again. What happens when Soundarraja comes to know about his wife’s past and present? Watch the exciting film in theaters.

Star Performance

Performance wise, all the four leads have done a good job. Prabhu Deva and Bhumika have extra work to emote, as the people who regain their old feelings. Prakash Raj's performance is excellent, as ever.

Analysis

Thangar Bachan movies are always filled with feelings and the director has the capacity to bring out the potential from the artists. Although the script is not new to Kollywood, the execution is certainly different. Thangar Bachan makes the audiences go deeper into the film with the performance of the stars. If the film had been released at the right time, it might have become a super hit.

Beautifully expressed emotions by the lead stars; Prakash Raj’s gentleman performance is noteworthy

What’s Not There?

Nothing odd in the film except the delayed release

Verdict

Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal is a good romantic film with the perfect performance of the stars. Although the film is good, it gives an old movie feel. Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal – one-time watch!
