Plot

Uglyville is the place where the imperfect dolls are sent. One of those dolls is Moxy. She is a positive thinker, who dreams that she will get her owner, soon. Moxy motivates her friends to enjoy the big world. While they were on the way, they come to know that the dolls have to pass the perfection test and will be sent to the right kid. What happens next? Did Moxy and friends meet their owners? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

The stars had given out a decent vocal performance. Janelle Monae’s performance is neat.

Analysis

Although the story seems to be new, the screenplay and direction didn't attract. It should have been improved. It has been neither designed to impress the kids nor adolescents. The animation is not much impressive. Similarly, the characterization should have been designed better. The songs are not much impressive. But, the attempt to give soul to the dolls with the music is quite remarkable.

The film doesn’t have anything impressive. It didn’t satisfy the kids or adolescents. Although it has a good number of songs, none of them stays in the heart.
