. The main character of the serial Manasare is Prarthana, which is played by Priyanka Chincholi. Prarthana’s mother dies after giving birth to her. Her father is a rich industrialist who loses a lot of property shortly after her birth. Since then, he hates Prarthana for killing his wife and being a bad omen for him. He didn’t take good care of her in her childhood.
After her father gets married again, her step-mother loved her unconditionally. Prarthana received immense love from her step-sister also. Seeing her father shower love towards her step-sister hurt her, but she didn’t let that deter her from loving her step-sister. She spent her adult life trying to please her father, who paid no heed to her, and to get him to understand her.
