The serial starts with Devi coming into the village to surprise her family members. Later it is revealed that her parents died when she was very young and she was raised by her uncle and aunt named Bharat and Rekha respectively. In the village, Devi has a threat and that is the reason they raised her in a city away from the village. When she is back in her village she meets a person named Adhiraj. They both get into an argument. At that time she didn't know that he was a rich person from a rival family. She slaps him in the argument and now he is obsessed with her. He wants to take revenge. Later, they get married. After her marriage, she gets to know that he hates her and married just for revenge she is devastated. She makes it her goal to make him fall in love with her. The rest of the story deals with hoe the heroine tries to win the hearts of her family.Â
