The Walk Teasers, Trailers, Video & Songs
The Walk is a biographical drama based on Philippe Petit, a high-wire artists’ walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. Robert Zemeckis, one of the greatest storytellers and pioneer of visual effects, directed and co-wrote the movie along with Christopher Browne.
The video is a teaser for the actual trailer of the film. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays the role of Philippe Petit in this dramatic rendition of the events on August 7, 1974. The trailer builds excitement and suspense with the use of a complementary background music. The helicopters, the balancing artist, and the people’s reactions all add to the tension of the video. The cinematography and editing of the teaser is a testament to the high caliber of the film. The shots focusing in series with the head-spinning height, the clasps coming undone, and the heart-stopping moments of him struggling to catch his balance intensify the thrill of the trailer. The movie is a stunning rendition of the real story of Petit and this is a testament to the brilliant performance by the cast, the spectacular effects that helped us all feel what it is like to stand among the clouds, and this was achievable because of the incredible direction by Zemeckis.
