The Nut Job Teasers, Trailers, Videos & Songs

The Nut Job is a Toon Box Entertainment production which tells the story of a bunch of squirrels trying to rob a “Nut Shop”. Aptly titled, the movie’s trailer starts with the protagonist, Surly(one of the squirrels) getting hungry and suddenly coming across the perfect destination to satisfy that hunger. After seeing a shop selling nuts, the squirrel starts drooling over and decides to enter that shop by hook or by crook. Directed by Peter Lepeniotis, this film has a voice cast of Katherine Heigl, Liam Neeson, Brendan Fraser and Will Arnett. Having a budget of $42.8 million, this movie comes under one of the most expensive animated films produced.

The trailer perfectly depicts the movie’s baseline and shows a mix of comedy and some witty dialogues. There are several one-liners and funny quotes throughout this teaser. The whole planning done to gather fellow squirrels and then “breaking and entering” the shop looks intriguing. The way the group describes the contents that they are going to steal i.e. almonds, pistachios, walnuts is way too charming. A likable leading character and the beautiful backgrounds surely will help gather the audience. The animation also looks very neat and like a film mainly focused on children. They will surely have a fun time watching it.
