But the position gets to his head and life takes a turn of events. The movie is based on a real-life story, hence the trailer teases that if that audience thought they knew everything about him, then, they are wrong. It promises to unfold the mysteries and unknown facts about James Brown’s life. It has received 1,685,756 views. Universal Pictures released ten videos of the movie with two official trailers.

The movie, Get on Up, has been directed by Tate Taylor. It takes the audience to witness the life story of Singer James Brown. The film pleasingly narrates about the rise of James Brown from rags to riches and from the unknown to the most popular. The film is a flashback of James’ memories about how he ended up in the current scenario. It shows how he gets imprisoned at a young age for theft and the manner in which the jail takes him more close to his aspiration of becoming a famous singer. After some years, he forms a band along with his prison inmate Bobby and a few others.

He becomes famous but many band members quit. The band is re-formed by James, Bobby and other new members. The story tells about his personal conflicts and how this band too gradually splits. Both the personal and professional lives of James are projected in a very emotional manner throughout the film. This movie received positive reviews from critics mainly for Chadwick Boseman’s phenomenal acting for the title role.
