Theertha is an Indian actress who shot to fame after her debut movie “Sontha Ooru” (2009), directed by P. Sunil Kumar Reddy. She played the lead role of Malli in the film, which revolves around the rural life of villagers living in and near special economic zones, who are exploited regularly by the government’s developmental plans.
Theertha was honored with the Nandi Award for best actress for her fantastic performance while the film bagged three more awards for best feature film, character actor and dialogue writer. Theertha has also featured in lead roles in “Son of Flower” (2012) and most recently, “Kombay” (2017)....
