Plot
Siva and Sami are best friends. Siva is unemployed, and his mother takes care of him. His only job is to impress the girls. Sumathi moves opposite Siva’s house. Impressed by her smile and beauty, he starts loving her. Meanwhile, his friend Sami had also fallen for Sumathi. When Siva proposed to Sumathi, she accepted his proposal. She also accepted Sami’s proposal. When the friends learn that both are in love with the same girl, and she has nodded yes to both, they are unable to get out of the shock. Why did she nod yes to both? Whom did she love? The rest of the story showcases these.
Star Performance
Smeha fits well in the role of a village girl. Her expressions are quite decent. Vijay Gowrish is okay in his role. Adarsh, Manjunathan, and PA Sudha are okay in the given roles.
Analysis
The story showcases the issues faced by women. The director strongly registers how one should respond to society and live amidst various characters. The pacing oscillates. Though the village characters are designed well, some lack depth. The screenplay is decent, but if some exciting scenes that project the acting talent of the leads had been designed, it would’ve impressed us. The climax dialogues by Smeha are heart-touching. The songs and the BGM are decent. The visuals are okay. The director tried to bring a relatable subject laced with comedy.

Kadukka is a decent attempt to showcase the mind-set of the youngsters. For the director’s debut attempt and the performances, it can be watched once!
