Malayalam Movie Review Qalb - Cast & Crew

Neha Nazneen Shakil is an actress working in the Malayalam film industry. Neha’s father, Shakil Ahammed, is an IAS officer. Her mother is Zafeera Shakil. Neha also has an elder sister, Aysha Farheen. Neha completed her UG at Christ University, Bangalore. She had a triple major in her UG with music, English literature and psychology. She did her Master’s degree in King’s College, London. Neha is interested in Sufi music and this paved the way to make her debut in the Malayalam industry as an actress. After seeing her social media videos, she was invited to participate in the audition for the film, “Qalb.”  She played the role of Thumbi and shared the screen space with Ranjith Sajeev and “Siddique,” directed by Sajid Yahiya.

Sajid Yahiya is a new generation star in Mollywood who is bitten by the acting bug. He came to limelight for his performance in movies like 'Bangalore Days" and "Friday", and now is placing high hopes in direction too. Sajid is making his directorial debut with his film ‘Inspector Dawood Ibrahim’. The film is co-written by Arouz Irfan, who is the actor’s cousin.  The film marks the directorial debut of both Arouz Irfan and Sajid Yahiya. Interestingly, the duo has also penned the script and dialogues of the movie. The film poster has already been released in the industry circle.  The shooting had commenced from March 2015 onwards. 

Shane Nigam is a Malayali actor. He is the son of the renowned actor and mimicry artist, Abi. Owing to the paternal connection, Shane has always been a part of the Cinema right from childhood. He attended the Vidya Mandir Bhavan school in Ernakulam for his primary education. He is at present pursuing a degree in BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and is in the final semester. Rajagiri College of Engineering and Technology is where he studies.

Siddique, who is a Malayalam film actor, producer, and a television host started his film career initially with comedy roles, and later he continued performing a variety of roles. Born at Edavanakkad, in Ernakulam Kerala, Siddique is the youngest child with two other siblings. Completing his primary schooling in his hometown, Siddique later took Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Kerala and worked for a few more years in Saudi Arabia. Later he quit his job and started exploring his inner talents. He started his artistic career as a mimicry artist. Married to Seena, Siddique has two sons. Shaheen Siddique is his eldest son from previous marriage, and he made his debut in the movie Pathemari.

Prakash Alex is a Music Director and Composer; who mainly works in Tamil and Malayalam Languages Movies. Prakash was born in Mallappally, Thiruvalla, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His nickname is Prax. Prakash was graduated with a “Programme in Audiography.” He’s also a Singer. Prakash Alex is well known for “Varayan” and TV Shows “Qalb” & “CID Sheela.”
