1. Uday Mehta
Uday Mehta is a very well-known talented professor of political science at Graduate Center. He has worked with a range of philosophical traditions. He has worked on many issues. Some of these include freedom and imagination relation, a link of liberalism with colonialism and empire and some of the recent works are war, peace, and non-violence.
He has also written books. The Anxiety of Freedom: Imagination and Individuality in the Political. He wrote Thought of John Locke in 1992. He wrote Nineteenth Century British Liberal Thought in 1999. In 2001, American Political Science Association awarded him with J. David Greenstone Book Award for the best book in theoretical and historical approach.
