Plot
Kring and Pariyaar are the two primary clans of Devkaali village. Madhav Tyagi is the face of divinity in Devkaali. The village head’s son, HemantAcharya, uses the Pariyaar clan for his personal gain, making both clans fight. As the tensions are high, the superior power decides to bring peace through Madhav. He tries hard to restore justice by exposing the buried truth. Will he succeed? The rest of the film follows that.
Star Performance
Mahesh Manjrekar is seen in the menacing role of HemantAcharya. Acting comes naturally, and we don’t find any artificial input in his performance. Niraj Chauhan is decent in his performance. However, we can spot a few differences in his performance, which is due to the lack of depth in his character. Prashant Narayanan is excellent as Manga Prabhakar and adds the needed essence to the character and the plot.
Analysis
The film starts with the right pace, and the first half is interesting while it sets the tone. The screenplay takes enough time to explain to the audience about the clans in Devkaali. Not all the characters are finely penned. The lead character, Madhav, lacks emotional depth. The visuals are impressive, and we feel as if we are travelling with them in the dense forest. The divine possession scene reminds us of the Kantara. There are no unnecessary songs inserted for commercial purposes. The film showcases the superstition, folklore, and social issues. The BGM is decent in emotional scenes.

Verdict
The film has the right blend of spirituality, societal issues, and villainism. With the performances of Mahesh Manjrekar and Prashant Narayanan, the film has its share of interesting scenes to make the audience watch it once!
