Plot

Rose-Lynn Harlan has spent a year in prison. She was blamed for drug transportation in HM Prison Cornton Vale. She says that she did not know that there was a drug in her package. After releasing from jail, she decided to take care of her children, who she had to leave for her arrest. Due to this event, she was fired from Glasgow’s Grand Ole Opry. She is now considered a convicted criminal. Her mother, Marion was taking care of her children in her absence. She always wants to be a country singer. Her mother tells her she should give up on her dream and focus on being an excellent mother to their children. Rose-Lynn was appointed in the house of Susannah. She is given the job of cleaned. While Rose-Lynn cleaning, Susannah’s children heard her singing. They tell their mother, Susannah, about Rose-Lynn singing. This brings a significant change in Rose-Lynn's life. What is going to happen Rose-Lynn? Will she be able to fulfill her dream? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Jessie Buckley, as Rose-Lynn Harlan, did an incredible performance in the film. Her journey to fulfill her dreams and at the same time take care of her children. Her detailing of the character was outstanding. Did a fantastic performance in the movie. She shows the nature of a strong woman who try her best to fulfill her dreams without neglecting her children. Julie Waters, as Marion, did a remarkable performance in the film. She was a perfect mother who was concerned for her child, Rose-Lynn. She did a great job in acting. Sophie Okonedo, as Susannah, was excellent in her role. She was supportive of Rose-Lynn and helped her to achieve her dream. The cameo of Kacey Musgraves, Ashley McBryde, and Bob Harris was good. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

The storyline of the film was great. The film focus on the central theme of how a woman fulfills he dream despite her crisis. The film has a great storyline. The storyline was unique and entertaining. The audience can understand the storyline.  The storyline was well-structured and developed. The musical nature of movie s maintained from the start till the end. The cinetomagraphy in the film was good. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The songs were perfect for a musical movie. The dialogues were excellent. The story had a great theme and message in the movie. The editing in the film was perfect.
