Afeni Shakur is an American activist and Businesswomen. She is the mother of famous rap artist Tupac Shakur. She was born on 10th January 1947 in Lumberton, North Carolina, U.S. Afeni's birth name is Alice Faye Williams. Afeni grew up hating men in general because her father was abusive, and she thought her mother was weak when she could not stand up against him. In 1958, Afeni along, with her mother, and sister left her father and relocated to New York. She did her schooling at Bronx High School of Science. Afeni loved the street life of New York.
