Plot

The Daughter is a drama picture coordinated and screenplay by Simon Stone. The creation Company is Screen NSW. The story is about a man who returns home to discover an old secured family secret and whose undertakings to put things right cripple the lives of those he left home quite a while already. Christian, an alcoholic, comes to Australia for the wedding of his father Henry to his impressively young hireling Anna. He finds that Charlotte, Henry's past servant, and life partner of his adored sidekick Oliver, partook in an extramarital trap with his father and that their juvenile young lady Hedvig is his relative.

By then, Christian's significant other, who ought to in like manner go to the wedding, dump him by a phone call. Christian, feeling miserable, begins drinking seriously again. At the wedding, hating his father for how he treated his mother, who committed suicide, Christian is compelled to edify Oliver concerning the affair. Oliver is shocked, and, in the wake of understanding that Hedvig isn't his daughter, leaves his life partner. Christian then uncovers the truth to Hedvig.
