Angela and Jessie are high school dropouts and work as waitresses but want more out of their mundane life. Angela plans a trip to Galveston for Jessie’s birthday and pays for it out of their rent money. She intends to recover the money by working extra shifts at the restaurant, but her plans are spoiled when Dustin uses his portion of rent on a failed drug sale. Dustin’s friend breaks into their apartment and steals their television. The police arrived at their apartment and arrested Angela and Jessie for the drugs found in the apartment. Verdict

“Never Goin’ Back” is an unconventional coming-of-age story of two teenage girls. But they still strive to change their lives for the better. The movie would be a good watch for drama enthusiasts.
