Jordan Vogt-Roberts was born as Jordan Charles Vogt-Roberts on September 22, 1984. He is an American television and film director and screenwriter. His directorial debut film, The Kings of Summer is an independent comedy drama film, which made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013. The film also earned nominations at the Cleveland International Film Festival and for the Grand Jury Prize. The Kings of Summer bagged the Narrative Feature Audience Award at the Dallas International Film Festival 2013. Prior to this film, he penned and directed a short film entitled Successful Alcoholics, which was also screened at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, AFI Fest, SXSW Film Festival, and several other film festivals.
