Lahiru Mudalige is a journalist, media manager, producer, music video director, social media personality, and an actor in Sri Lankan cinema and television. His career started as a child artist. He was born in Kandy, Sri Lanka as the eldest child of his family. He completed his study at Wariyapola Sri Sumangala Vidyalaya and D.S. Senanayake College. He was the host of a musical programme Hithata Wandina Eka, Handa Radi Peya, and a chat programme Coffee with Lahiru and Muditha.

He also established a talk show on social media, mainly on youtube, where he brings the concept of good journalism on social media. He joined the Kandurata Radio Service when he was seven years old. After that, he joined Lakhanda and Pavana radio. He joined the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation as a presenter. In 2002 he was invited to Raja FM as a radio jockey. Under the guidance of senior journalist Hema Nalin, he joined Swarnavahini in 2003. In 2008 he gained immense popularity. Hithata Wadina Eka is a musical program that was made by Lahiru Mudalige. He made the Sonduru Wasanthe film under Roy de Silva's direction.

He plays a supportive role in this film. Also, he acted in the television serial Jeewithe Lassanai which became a hallmark in the Sri Lankan teledrama industry. He produced the morning chat program Coffee with Lahiru and Muditha. Mega Star, a reality show, was produced by him in 2010. After his television career, he started working on music video advertising, entertainment, and various events.

He was also a managing director of "Hari TV Pvt Ltd." It is a multi-channel platform on YouTube. He works in political, social, and economic talk shows and interviews. He has done 600 music videos. Additionally, he has received various awards at Derana Music Video Awards. He started teledrama production in 2019, and produced a serial Kanamediriyo telecast in ITN. He also runs a fashion line, 'Colombo Batik', with his wife. He is the lead producer of Hari TV which is involved in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Syria, Tunisia, and Gambia. He got married to Sanduni de Silva. His wife is a software Engineer. On 29th October 2017, they became husband-wife.
