Indika Darmathilka is a renowned Sinhalese actor and director. He was born on 11th August. Indika completed his education at Sri Siddhartha Central College, Eppawala. Later, he pursued BA honors in Drama and Theatre from University of Kelaniya. Indika’s family includes his parents Darmadasa and Jayanthi. He has three sisters Samanthi, Chandrika and Airangini. He is married to Nilasha Abeysinghe. The couple has a son Piyon Tevin and a daughter Nifli Diyara. Some of the notable works by Indika are direction of teledramas Andungira, Massa and Giridevi. He has also acted in the teledrama Ayomi. He was honoured with the Special Jury Award for Giridevi at Signis Salutation – 2022.
