Wakunugoda Gayathri Irosha Dias, generally known as Gayathri Dias, is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema. She is also a presenter, a beautician, and an entrepreneur. She was born on 16 April 1975. She is the second child of Ranjith Henry Dias and Eujin Alahpperuma. Gayathri completed her studies at several schools, Methodist College, Samudradevi, and Karunaratne Bauddhaloka Maha Vidyalaya. In her seventeen she got an opportunity to work as a receptionist at TNL TV. She acted in a teledrama, Geethaya.
Also, she worked as a supporting character in the film Oba Magema Wewa. She has done many popular films, such as Suwanda Denuna Jeewithe, Yamaraja Siri, and Seya. She married a famous actor and director
