Aruni Rajapaksha is a model, actress, TV host, and former winner of beauty pageants from Sri Lanka. Aruni is born in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka. She grew up in Kandy. Aruni enrolled in a secretarial course at Kandy Technical College following her G.C.E. Advanced Level Exam. She started organizing fashion shows in Kandy during that time, which inspired her to pursue a career in modelling. Aruni is a mother of twin girls and is married to Nalin Samarawickrama. Aruni was crowned the 2005 Capri Beauty Queen and the 2004 Udarata Memike. Aruni has hosted a number of programs, including “Liyasevana” and “Hello Sri Lanka.”
