Thilina Boralessa is a famous actor and director in Sri Lanka. He lives in Kesbewa, Sri Lanka. He was born in Sri Lanka. He went to Sri Pada College in Hatton, Sri Lanka to complete his schooling. He later joined Dharmaraja College in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Thilina is majorly known for the Sinhala teledramas directed by him. Thilina started his TV journey in the Sinhala industry in 2011. He first acted in a 2011 film called Selvam. The film was written and directed by Sanjaya Leelaratne. He has written and directed many teledramas. Thilina has written and directed the teledrama named Malee. He created this drama series in 2011. The drama series has four parts.
Malee, Aththamma, Sidu, and Shakti. The second sequel Aththamma, was aired in 2013. Sidu is the third sequel of the TV series. It came out in 2016.
