Amrit Amby

Amrit Amby is a Punjabi actor working in the Punjabi film industry. He is a comedian and theatre performer too. On 20 January 1993, he was born into a Sikh family in Village Gobindpur, Sangrur, Punjab. He graduated from Dayanand Anglo Vedic Public School in Jakhal, earned a diploma from Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute in Lehragaga, and earned a degree from Punjabi University in Patiala. Amrit’s professor forced Amrit to go on stage and perform, Amirit was anxious, yet he managed to act. Here was the beginning of Amirit's journey. Amrit never looked back ever since and made his career in acting and did multiple theaters and acts. He also is the Gold Medalist of Punjabi University. Amrit made his television debut in 2012 as a contestant on the PTC Punjabi comedy show Laughter Da Master.

Amrit has also appeared in Punjabi films such as Jora 10 Numbaria, Hard Kaur, and Sardar Mohammad. He performed in Nimrat Khaira's song Rohab Rakhdi. Amrit has worked on PTC Punjabi short films such as Kidder Nu Me Java, Zameer, Purpose Nikke Da, and others. He also started a YouTube channel named Yaar Malvaiye uploads a few sketches, short comedies, and a theatre play.
