Ekta Gulati Khera

Ekta Gulati Khera is a Punjabi actress who has worked in movies as an actor, art director and has also starred in many music videos. Ekta Gulati, born on October 3, 1985, in Punjab, India, lived with her parents and her brother Dharmendra Gulati as a child. She is married to Kunal Kheda and has a son, Ryan Kheda. Ekta, when young, used to act in front of the mirror and has developed a liking for acting since then. After completing her schooling, she enrolled in journalism at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, to become a news anchor. While studying in college, she was selected to perform as a classical dancer in the Youth Festival by a professor, the professor was impressed with her smile and dancing skills.

Due to her classical dancing, the college was awarded first place in the dance category of the Youth Festival after a long seven-year period. Ekta Gulati was a gold medallist and also won the best dancer award at her college. After being recognized as a dancer, she got her first part in movie through Vikram Grover, who called her for the role of a friend to be played in the movie Carry on Jatta (2012), where she met Sumeep Kang (the director of Carry on Jatta) on the set and has since been offered many acting parts by him. Before indulging herself in performing as an actor, Ekta worked as an art director to get familiar with the set and observe the methods of actors. Seeing Ekta's curiosity, Sumeep Kung offered Ekta to help him and learn about the journey of a movie's creation.

She helped him in the Bollywood film Jhoota Kahin Ka, where she also got to act with Bollywood actors.
