Surindher Frishta was born on 18 March, 1985 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Gurbachan Singh Frishta, was a farmer and his mother Baljit Kaur Frishta, was a homemaker. He has an older brother, Sukhwinder Singh Frishta , who is a farmer, and younger sister, Ravinder Kaur Frishta, who is a nurse. He completed his schooling at a school in Amritsar and pursued further education at a local college. Being quite fond of cinema, he was keen to settle down in the Punjabi cinema where he wanted to be an actor. Surindher Frishta made his debut with the Punjabi film “Sajjan Singh Rangroot”.
