Baljinder Atwal was born in the small town of Pharala, Punjab. He pursued his higher education at Sikh National College in Banga. He worked for the telephone department of India for three years before migrating to Canada in 1985. After moving to Canada, Baljinder worked the job of an electrician for many years at the Gill electric company. He eventually found his way into the entertainment industry as an actor and T.V. host.
