Shilpa Thakre is an Indian actress who has contributed predominantly to the Marathi film industry. She is a dancer and a social media sensation as well. She gained notice after her short videos got viral on social media. Shilpa was born on 22 October; 1992 in Walani, Nagpur, Maharashtra, to Nagorao Thakre and Sushila Thakre. She did her schooling in Maharashtra Vidyalay High School and later secured a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication.
After completing her education, she started doing night shifts at a company in Pune for two years. Keeping her dream of becoming an actor someday, she used to go for movie auditions in the morning, and work at night. However, it was a video she posted on a social media platform that got her the fame she has now. She got many movie offers. She played lead roles in Ibhrat, Triple Seat, Kichik, Perfume, Bhirkit, Rada, and Zangya. She has also appeared in short films like Summi. So far, she has acted in Marathi and Hindi films.
