Madhusmita Pradhan was born in Rourkela, Odisha. She belongs to a very creative family as her father is an artist, this made Madhusmita exposed to various forms of art from a very young age. She has 3 sisters and one brother. Madhusmita had strong inclination towards dance since childhood but later on she considered acting. She is a MBA holder. She started her acting with the mega serial Tulasi when she was just 17 and we saw that how successful career she had built for herself. Her dedication plus talent got such tremendous recognition which made every character of hers portrayed loved by one and all. She also continued dancing as there were few things which gave her joy and peace. Throughout these years Madhusmita has acted in many mega serials and odia films. She started her career with the serial Hasiba Puni Mo Suna Sansara. She acted in Odia film Suna Chadhei Rupa Chadhei ,Puni Dekha Heba Ara Janamare etc. One serial which needs mandatory mention here is “EI MATIRA KATHA CHHA MANA AATHA GUNTHA” which was aired in Tarang TV .The characters played by Madhusmita in the respective serials have always been eye catchers for its audience.
