Devika Arundhati Samal from Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, was born on 16th February 1996. She is a well-known and popular actor across Odisha. She has done her schooling at Saraswati Shisu Vidya Mandir and graduated from Sailabala Women's College, Cuttack. Later she also did her higher education at Utkal University. She is known for her roles on the TV channels Zee Sarthak and Manjari TV. She belongs from a creative background where her father Himanshu Samal is a well-known Odia director, and her mother Tilottama Khuntia is a famous Odia actress. The work of the latter is prominent in Odia TV serials. She also has a sister who is into music. Devika started her career under the direction and supervision of her father Himanshu Samal, as a child artist in DD Odia serials.

Since a very young age, she has been familiarised with the Odia TV serial industry and entertained thousands with her amazing talent and skills. She is now the leading actor in the Odia serial “Neijare Megha Mote”. Here she plays the role of Sandhya, who falls in love with the same guy, an architect, for whom her cousin has feelings. The story slowly unravels who actually gets to be with their lover. She also appeared as a protagonist in the “ Mo Jejemaa Mo Jejemaa is an Odia drama television series that >> Read More... ” serial where she performed the opposite of Hara Pattanaik. This story revolves around an old man who realises that his children are after his money and property. So, he marries a young girl and gives all his property to her. Her performance in this serial is appreciated by everyone and her acting style was very mature. Because of her beauty and talent, she was also offered to act in an Odia film, but she declined it. Devika is a talented dancer as well and has performed in many shows.

Her performance in the Zee Sarthak award show in 2018 was loved by thousands and received a ton of love. She was also awarded the best actress award on the Ollywood screen in 2018. Few years later she was again awarded the best actress award for the Mo Jejemaa serial. She has also done some music videos and gained love from her fans. One of her music videos Anutap was released in 2021. She has a keen interest and love for modelling and has appeared in many photoshoots.
