Nhyoo Bajracharya was born on the 15th of September, 1964, Kathmandu, Nepal. Parmananda Bajracharya and Krishna Devi Bajracharya are his parents. He studied at Tribhuwan University, Kirtipur, Nepal. He is a Nepali singer, composer, and lyricist. He has made 500 songs in different languages such as- Nepali, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Newar Bhasa, and even Chinese. He is trained to play guitar and piano. He has also conducted his concerts internationally in countries like- Japan, Canada, Hong Kong, France, the United States of America, Australia, and the United Kingdom. He was the judge of a reality show- Nepal Idol. In 1988, he won the All-Nepal Music Competition organized by Radio Nepal and was judged by Swar Samrat Narayan Gopal.

Bajracharya received the National Narayan Gopal Yuva Sangeet Puraskar in 2001 and has won the award of Best Music Composition several times. His fusion style music composition ‘Ani Choying Dolma’ remains appreciated. Bajracharya’s famous compositions include- Kya Bore Bhayo, Phool ko Aakhama, Aadhi Baato Hide Pachi Timi Sita Bhet Vayo, Saya Thari Eutai Taal, and a few others.

In Newar Bhasa he released albums- Chaanta Lumanka (1986), Chulichiya Chan Chan Volume I in 1991 and Volume II in 1993, Jaa Mala Chwongu Sa (2000), Matakala (2007), etc. He even released a Hindi album named ‘Krupa’ in 2000. His other albums include- Sakura (2000), Kagaj ko Dunga (2001), Moments of Bliss (2004), Dharma Dhowni (2007), Seet ko Geet (2008), Don’t Tie Me Up (2011), and many more. He directed music for ‘Rajamati’ in 1995 a Newar Bhasa movie, and for Nepali films like- Telefilm Pandhra Gatey in 1990, Desh Pardesh in 1995, Bir Ganesh Man and Anjaan Ma Maya Basla Hai in 2002, and a few more. He even worked as a music director for a Limbu language movie named Numafung in 2002.
