is a Nepali model and actress born on 10 September 1992. She was born in Dolakha, Nepal, but later moved to Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur. She went to Modern College of Management in Bhaktapur when she won the title ‘Miss Modern.’ Shrestha married an Australian NRN, Sudeep Neupane, after which she left her acting and modeling career and settled in Australia. Prakriti Shrestha was recognized after her debut as a model in the music video Idea Honey Bunny by Ur Style TV. She started acting in the Nepali Film industry with Hostel. Prakriti won as first runner-up in Mega Model season 1. After this, it opened the opportunity to model for Colors Mobile', 'Fashion Runway', ' Evoke Magazine’.
She has been featured in dozens of music videos with her first video, ‘Ko hola tyo’ which became a hit, followed by Idea Honey Bunny, an adaptation to the ringtone of an Indian network that helped to gain recognition in her home country. It was Sunil Rawal who chose her for the movie 'Hostel' along with Anmol KC. The movie was based on the hostel life of an MBBS student. For movie Hostels, she received awards like 'The Kamana Film Awards’, and ‘The National Box Office Awards 2071' and got a nomination for 'The NEFTA Film Awards.’ Then Prakriti did the movie ‘Utsav (2014)’ with the lead role. She also did similar movies to ‘Utsav,’ which are ‘Zindagi Rocks,’ ‘Aavash’ and ‘Shubharambh.’ The role she plays a romantic genre and is based on a new generation of people.
