Madan Ghimire, a producer, director, and lyricist, was born in October 1965 in Gundu, Bhaktapur, Nepal. His father was the Late Devi Prasad Ghimire. His mother's name is Chini Maiya Ghimire. He debuted in Aama Ko Maya (1996) as the director, screenplay, and dialogue writer. He is known for his work as a director in Aago 2 (2015), Boyfriend (2019), and as an editor in the music video Oot Patangi (2021) and short film Rest of the Night (2022).
His other works include Kasto Saino (2002), Maya Basechha (2005), Manma Maya (2005), Ghayal (2007), Faisala (2008), Mister Don (2008), Dosti (2009), Masti (2012), Dhadkan Bhitra (2013), Bouncer (2013) as the director and lyricist. He worked on the story, direction, and lyrics of the films Causo (2019) and Farz (2009). He also directed Maya Namara (2003), Jivandata (2006), Dadagiri (2006), Buba Aama (2007),
