Gopal Chandra Lamichhane is a Nepalese film director. Lamichhane was born on 14 January 1974 in Shivalaya, Parbat, Nepal. His father's name is Bhagadatta Lamichhane, and his mother is Deu Kumari Lamichhane. He is married to Gita Kumari Giri Lamichhane and has two children. He holds the general secretary position in the Nepal Film Directors Guild. He began his career as an assistant director for films- Trishna, Malai Maaf Garideu Sukha Dhuka, Ye Mero Hajur, etc.
He has directed the Nepalese films- Kina Lagchha Maya, Janta Jindabad, and Boksi. Aaina and OMM (Oh My Man) are short films directed by Lamichhane. He was the director for the Nepali-language TV series- Dharti Aakash, Archana, and Hijo Aaja Bholi and documentary feature films- Morong Jilla, Sahakari Sangharu, Ko Gatibidhi and The Living Myth. He has also been a scriptwriter for films and dramas like- Sadak Ko Jindagi, Nasha Vastabikta, Navaya Nepal, and many others.
