Sweta Khadka

Shweta Khadka is a Nepali model, actress, and producer. She was born on 5 February 1988 in Kavre, Nepal to Bahadur KC and Goma KC. She did her schooling at Shree Ram High School, Khopasi, and attended college at Indreshowr Higher Secondary School. Later she enrolled in the Tribhuvan University of Kathmandu. Shweta had no plans to land in the Nepali film industry but she was destined to shine in the film industry and hence she landed. Shweta's parents agreed. In 2008, she made her debut with the movie Kaha Bhetiyela. With her debut, she rose to fame.

Her good acting skills grabbed her several movies. Some of her movies are Hasi Deu Ek Fera, Kohinoor, Kanchhi, Hello Jindagi, and Shreeman Shreemati. The movie Kanchhi released in 2014 was produced by herself. Shweta got married to her co-star Shree Krishna Shrestha after both fell head over heels in love with each other. Shrestha died just after a month of his marriage with Shweta due to pneumonia and bone cancer. The Kohinoor movie is the last memory of Shweta with her husband. Along with being a movie star, she is a social activist too.

Shweta Shree Foundation is her establishment in reminiscence of her husband. It is established to lend a hand to the disadvantaged section of Nepal. In the year 2020, Shweta tied the knot with Bijayendra Singh Rawat. She is connected with the Managing Director of MRS & Engineering (P) Ltd.
