Swastima Khadka is a Nepalese actress and has worked primarily in Nepali movies. She was born on 04 July 1995 in Kathmandu. She completed her schooling at Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya. Swastima has a 3-year Diploma in Architecture Engineering, Thapathali Campus - Institute of Engineering. At the age of 17, she participated in the Nepali beauty competition Miss Teen Nepal. Khadka appeared in the 2017 social drama film Chhakka Panja 2, which was an economic success, producing 60 million Nepalese rupees in its initial six days of release and becoming Nepal's 2nd highest-grossing movie. That same year, Khadka starred in the drama movie Bulbul. The film was selected as an entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. Swastima Khadka married director Nischal Basnet of 'Loot' on 14 December 2015, after marking her debut in 'Hostel Returns'. Khadka also appeared as a guest in the 2017 film "Kutu Ma Kutu". Her appearance in the song was praised by masses and critics. This song was the first Nepali music video to receive over 200 million views on YouTube.
