Mithila Sharma

Mithila Sharma is a well-known actress and dancer of Nepalese origin. Throughout the duration of her career, she has been a part of over 100 Nepali films, numerous television serials, and musical dramas. She was born on October 16, 1963, in Kathmandu and graduated in Home Science and Dance. At the tender age of nine, Mithila debuted in the entertainment industry, when she performed in front of King Birendra on his birthday. In addition to her career as an actor, she also teaches singing and dancing at Kantishwori and St Marys High School in Nepal. She was also associated with the Nepalese reality dance talent show, Chham Chhami, as one of the judges which aired on Nepal Television. She was married to Ex-IGP of Nepal Moti Lal Bohora in 2014. She is also appreciated for her contributions to the Nepalese cultural scene. She has written and directed ten musicals, showcasing her creativity and artistic talent. Her talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as she has received several awards for her contributions to Nepalese cinema. In the year 2019, she was felicitated with the award for the Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film The Man from Kathmandu.
