Menuka Pradhan is a well-known Nepalese actress who has been actively working in Nepal’s Film Industry since 2010. She was born on 23rd July 1993, in Gaindakot, Nepal. She completed her schooling at Oxford English Boarding School, then moved to Kathmandu for higher education and also pursued her acting career. In Kathmandu, she also joined the theatre and took an acting course at the Actor’s Studio. She has been interested in acting since childhood and used to participate in various competitions. She participated in theatre while she was in school as well. When she was 12, she also worked on a television series for a local channel in her hometown.

Her parents have always been supportive and encouraging of her career. The actress debuted with Shikari 2 in 2010, but she got her big break in 2011 with Ek Din Ek Raat and began her acting journey. Since then, she has worked in various roles as a supporting and leading actress in several movies from different genres, including comedy, drama, and thrillers, and has given numerous hits. Her notable works include Resham Filili (2015), Gajalu (2016), Purano Dunga (2016), and Damaruko Dandibiyo (2018), for which she won awards. Her most significant breakthrough was with the comedy movie Resham Filili, in which she was cast in the lead role and gained public recognition.

After that, she started getting more and more lead roles. Another movie that earned her major recognition and later became a huge hit was Gajalu. Furthermore, her performance in Saili (2019) won her the NEFTA Film Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Female). Along with working in various teleserials, she has also appeared in several music videos, including Gaungharai Ramailo, Dancema Ma, Kanchhi Laai, and Saili, which was so appreciated and loved by the public that it was later made into a movie. In addition to being a good actor, she is also an excellent dancer and has performed in many dancing numbers.
